Our Current Journeys -

In February 2024, FFNCA ambassadors traveled to Ambalangoda and Galle in Sri Lanka.  They visited a traditional mask museum, a puppet museum, a turtle conservation center, and a tea plantation. the visit finished with a day of games, singing and dancing with the Sri Lanka club members. 

In September, 2024 twelve FFNCA members visited the Western Colorado and the Albuquerque Friendship Force clubs. The mountains out there are beautiful and we had lots of fun. The photo below is from our service project picking up trash on the Grand Mesa, compliments of the Western Colorado club. 

For 2025 FFNCA has been matched with the Central Arizona (Phoenix) club and with Santa Barbara, CA so a contingent from our club will be visiting them. Approximate dates are October 17 to November 10. It's not too late to sign up!  

In the fall of 2025, some lucky ambassadors will get to visit Australia's Sunshine Coast and Newcastle. Approximate dates are October 13 to November 6. It's not too late to join this journey! 

In May, 2024 FFNCA hosted fifteen ambassadors from Niagara, Canada.  After a lovely Welcome Brunch the group visited Lincoln's Cottage and Hillwood Estate. Other days they toured the US Capitol, the National Mall Old Town Alexandria, VA. Farewell Dinner was held at Portofino Restaurant. 

In June, 2024 FFNCA welcomed ten ambassadors - five Hungarians, one Canadian and four US citizens. Despite the varied backgrounds and languages it was a great group. We fit in as many typical DC attractions as we could in the four day journey, visiting the White House, the Capitol, various memorials, a few Smithsonian museums, Mount Vernon and more. 

Arriving in DC in time for the cherry blossoms, the Albuquerque club will be visiting FFNCA March 19 to 25, 2025. We have our coordinators for this journey but will be needing home hosts, day hosts, etc. Please let us know if you want to help. 

May 7 to 14, 2025, a group will be visiting FFNCA from Kenya! If you'd like to host a Kenyan or two in your home, please let us know!
